Welcome to St. Francis Montessori
St. Francis Montessori enables children to reach their highest human and religious potential in an environment of love, guidance, and collaboration. St. Francis Montessori is committed to the integrity of the Montessori method as originally developed by Maria Montessori and currently promulgated by the Association Montessori Internationale. All guides are AMI certified, and we strive in our pedagogy and materials to conform to the standards of the Association.

Our Montessori Casa programs assists children age 2 1/2 through 6 years old in acquiring practical life, reading, writing, math, and cultural skills in an environment of self-paced, individual or collaborative work. The environment is carefully prepared to provide learning opportunities to the children utilizing all their senses, especially the hand and its sense of touch. This Montessori prepared environment promotes the children’s natural desire to discover God and themselves through interaction with the created world.
St. Francis Montessori gives pride of place to its Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program, providing four Atria with four catechists certified to guide ages 3-9 (Level 1 and 2), as well as three catechists in training for Level 1 certification. Our Catechesis program has tripled in enrollment since our founding in 2009, and our Atrium is at the center of our building, as it is the heart of our programs.
St. Francis Montessori recognizes that the parent is the primary educator of the child, and our Guides and Directress work in frequent consultation with the parents to discuss the growth and development of their child(ren). St. Francis is also deeply committed to providing a community environment among all associated with the school.
